Join the Minnetonka Alumni Association on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 4-10 p.m. at the All-Class All-Friends Reunion in Downtown Excelsior for a day filled with fun, friendship and fantastic food!

Beginning in fall 2024, two reading tutors will join Minnetonka Schools teachers, administrators and staff in supporting student literacy growth at Excelsior Elementary and Minnewashta Elementary.

Minnetonka High School students filled more than 780 volunteer slots at more than 100 sites, with many students signing up for multiple slots. Opportunities to give back to the Minnetonka community included leading field day activities at the elementary schools, helping wash fire trucks at the Minnetonka Fire Department, and carrying out daily tasks at the Gale Woods Farm.

The United States Senate Youth Program is a unique educational experience for outstanding high school students interested in pursuing careers in public service. Minnetonka senior Deepti Pillai ‘24 was selected as one of only two students from the state of Minnesota to participate in the week-long educational experience in Washington, D.C. 

The Minnetonka High School MOMENTUM Program partnered with the Minnesota Asphalt Paving Association for a hands-on mathematics unit.

On Thursday, June 6, the 71st graduating class of Minnetonka High School celebrated its commencement at US Bank Stadium.

Minnewashta’s first grade classes took the lead in coordinating the school’s efforts. “The kids were very excited to host a book drive as they are all growing so much in their reading abilities in first grade,” said teacher Joy Gresham. “The idea of donating some of their favorite books to other kids who could enjoy them was very exciting!”
