**Juniors, you must take the PSAT this year
to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship competition.**
A high score on the PSAT could enhances your college application
and lead to thousands of dollars in scholarships!
Test-taking strategies learned in the PSAT prep course can also apply
to other standardize tests, including the ACT!

Official PSAT Exam

Juniors will take the official PSAT exam on October 14, 2026 in the morning at Minnetonka High School. Students registered for the exam will receive an excused absence for any courses missed.

PSAT Review & Practice Test

Students can register for the following sessions when they register for the PSAT exam. There is no fee for these sessions:
IN-PERSON REVIEW SESSION
Wednesday, September 9, 6pm-7:30pm, MHS Forum
VIRTUAL REVIEW SESSION
Saturday, October 10, 8am-Noon, Virtual
- Receive tips for each section of the PSAT test from MHS teachers Krista Hitchcock and David Surver
- Take an entire virtual PSAT practice test in a video conference style setting
- Review scores at the end of the session
